Clerk/Cashier for Independent Pharmacy

CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK Requirements:
- Customer service / clerk experience preferred.
- Pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass a background test.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must be able to stand on your feet during work hours.
Schedule:
- 30 or 40 hours per week 3-4 (10-hour) weekdays - we are open from 8:
00-6:
00 PM - Every other Saturday (8:
00 am - 2:
00 pm) and 1 Sunday a month (8:
00 am - 10:
00 am).
- If you work Saturday, you will have TWO days off the next week.
- Employees get a 30-minute lunch break on site each day.
Tasks:
- Greet and wait on customers promptly and in a friendly manner.
Offer to help assist them if needed.
- Ring up customers' prescriptions and over the counter (OTC) products.
- Stock OTC items on shelves when order is received each morning - check prices to make sure they're consistent.
- Morning/afternoon cleaning once a week (this includes employee kitchen, restocking & cleaning bathrooms, checking for outside trash, replacing garbage bags, etc.
) - Dust your assigned OTC aisle once a month.
- Must arrive by 7:
30 to get morning tasks done & prepared for the day.
- Unbox, sort and price gift items.
- Use Facebook Pages/Messenger and Instagram to post regularly and reply to messages.
