Summary:
The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department(s) by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
A Construction-Related Background is Preferred Duties/
Responsibilities:
Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
Performs filing and recordkeeping and maintains filing systems as assigned.
Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
Assists with service department administrative duties.
Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
Accounts Payable data entry.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Sage 100 accounting software experience a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
Ability to work independently.
Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One to three years of experience in a construction-related administrative role preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$18.
00 - $20.
00 per hour Expected hours:
25 - 40 per week
