The role of our certified nursing assistants is to perform non-professional direct patient care duties under the supervision of nursing personnel and to assist in maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment for the residents
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
A.
Personal Care FunctionsDuties:
Assist residents with daily bath, dressing, grooming, dental care, bowel andbladder functions, preparation for medical tests and exams, ear and eyecare and positioning in and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, etc.

Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushingand pulling and ability to distinguish smells and temperatures.
B.
Nursing Care FunctionsDuties:
Provide nursing functions as directed by supervisor including daily perinealcare, catheter care, change dressings, turn residents in bed, sponge baths,measure and record temperature, pulse and respirations, with andmeasure residents, perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures andobserve and report presence of skin breakdowns; review care plans daily;report changes in resident conditions to supervisor; and record allnecessary charting entries and report all accidents and incidents.

Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, ability to communicate withresidents, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures and ability tohear and respond to resident pages.

Food Service FunctionsDuties:
Prepare residents for meals and snacks; identify food arrangement and assist infeeding residents as needed; record food and fluid intake; and performafter-meal resident care.

Lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, ability to distinguish smells andtemperatures and ability to write or otherwise record intake.

Residents' Rights FunctionsDuties:
Maintain resident confidentiality; treat residents with kindness, dignityand resp ect; know and comply with Residents' Rights rules; and,promptly report all resident complaints, accidents and incidents tosupervisor.

Other Job Functions:

Support FunctionsDuties:
Assist as directed in proper admission, transfer and discharge of residents;inventory resident possessions and report food articles and medicationsfound in resident rooms; and, report defective equipment toadministration.

Ability to communicate with residents and ability to read and write in English.
B.
Safety and Sanitation FunctionsDuties:
Understand and use Universal Precautions and follow established safety rules;ensure cleanliness of assigned residents' rooms; p roperly maintain andrecord resident restraints; and promptly report all violations of safety andsanitation rules to supervisor.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
o Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and currentlylicensed by the State of Alabama or in training to satisfactorily completethe requirements to become a Certified Nurse Assistant.
o Must be at least 18 years of age.
o Completion of elementary education or otherwise show ability to read,write and follow oral and written directions.
o Must speak and understand English.
o Previous experience or completion of appropriate training program.
o Positive attitude toward the elderly.
Salary:
$14 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
